Even though I love me some classic black smokey eye, I must say that you would see me wearing a grey smokey eye a lot more often.
First of all, I think it is a lot easier to work with greys than with a plain black. It is beginners friendly. In other words it is “the safe version” of a black smokey eye :) Since there is a wide array of grey shades, you can make your smokey as soft or as bold and dramatic as you wish.
Besides grey shades, I used a metallic taupe color on the upper lid. You can totally skip that, I just wanted to make it a little bolder that day.
My version of a grey smokey eye makeup look would be great for a night out or for any other special occasion. It photographs really well as you can tell.
If you liked my grey smokey eye look, you can share this post on facebook, pinterest, twitter…. Pretty much on any soacial media you’re using. Your support is greatly appreciated!
