It is really frustrating and quite a challenge to find that perfect contouring shade if you have pale/light skin. But I did it! I finally did. It creates the most beautiful and natural looking shadows on my cheek bones. Blends effortless… I’m in paradise right now! :) My new must have – Inglot HD Sculpting Powder in 505.
Inglot products can be found online only in the US, if I am not mistaken. They have their official web site: www.inglotusa.com and also you can get Inglot product from www.beautylish.com.
One of these refill pans retail for $15. And you get 5.5g / 0.19 oz.
I got it off Beautylish cause their shipping is cheaper and actually faster :)
Inglot HD Sculpting Powder is hypoallergenic. Paraben free. Big thumb up from a girl like me with super sensitive skin.
The refill is very well secured in a plastic case.
There is a large variety of shades to choose from for all skin tones out there.
If you are super pale, there is another shade I would recommend you to go for: #504.
Inglot HD Sculpting Powder in #505 is compared to the very famous Kevyn Aucoin Sculpting Powder in Medium. I think because this particular shade would suit so many skin tones since it is very buildable.
Inglot HD Sculpting Powder is very soft and silky. It applies smoothly. You are not gonna get that muddy, patchy look… No! Blends easily. It shapes your face beautifully. Just a bit powdery. It has no glitters, no specks, absolutely matte.
I think it will last me at least 4-6 months with everyday using. Maybe even more, I don’t know. Cause like I mentioned before, you get 5.5g of powder, which is a decent amount.
Lasts all day on me, and by that I mean a good 8-10 hours. Even if there is little fading by the end of the day, I didn’t notice it.
And you can really build up the Inglot HD Sculpting Powder. Use as little or as much as you need to. I just think this particular shade #505 would be flattering on all light/medium skin tones.
I know that for pale/light skin tones NYX blush in blush is recommended for contour. But you know what, I swatched it and its grey undertone is too strong for my liking, doesn’t look flattering in my opinion. I definitely would choose and recommend the Inglot HD Sculpting Powder over the NYX blush in Taupe. Even though, the Inglot’s products are more expensive than drugstore, I’m just so tired wasting my money on products that doesn’t work for my skin tone.
Here is a photo os me wearing the Inglot HD Sculpting Powder in 505. Not the best example, but that’s what I had at the moment.
I really like the Wet n Wild Contouring Palette, but since they changed the formula the colors are different also. Now the one I was using Dulce de Leche is so much warmer, and as a result I can’t use it.
Have you tried the Inglot HD Sculpting Powder? What’s your favorite contouring product? Share with me your thoughts and opinions with me ;)
See you soon in my next blogpost! Stay beautiful ;)
