Have you noticed the abundance of red makeup showing up on numerous famous faces? It is probably a seasonal trend, but me personally, I can wear reds any season.
Do you remember Chanel’s campaign for its LeRouge line? OMG it was breathtaking – red eyeliner, shadow, blush and lipstick starring Kristen Stewart (duhh who else? she’s the queen of red makeup).
If you have blue, green or grey eyes!!! You just have to wear some red eyeshadows. At least, give it a try. Your eye color will pop instantly. The key is to use the right shade of red. The pinker your red, the more tired and sick you will end up looking. My advice would be too choose crimson and berry shades to make that red makeup do its job. You will look astonishing, I promise.
If you’re still too scared to apply any reds on your eyes, go for some red browns or rusty shades. And then go from there.
When you’re finally ready and all set for a red makeup, do not forget to start with prepping your skin. Conceal any redness on your face or it will just look messy. Adding more red on top of red is not a good idea…
Wear it any way you like, but wear it with confidence.
