As much as I love blue eyeshadows, I have been trying to avoid them in my makeup looks. All that because my eyes were reacting to them. No matter what brand… My eyes would just look demonic, so irritated and red, after having that blue makeup on for a few hours.
It all changed with my Coastal Scents order. I don’t know, but for some reason I don’t get the same reaction anymore. I could finally do my blue makeup and not being worried about my eyes getting bloody red. I am still getting some redness after 6+hrs of having blue makeup on, but my eyes get tired by that time with any product on, even if it’s only eyeliner. So, not bad.
The star of my blue makeup is that gorgeous indigo blue eyeshadow. It looks so, so much better on the lid than I was expecting. A tip for you if you really want your blue eyeshadow to stand out, pair it with red toned colors in the crease. It can be anything from reddish brown to mauve to burgundy.
