Pacifica has a new collection called – Pacifica The Power of Love. It is made exclusively for Target stores nationwide. As all their other products, this collection is 100% vegan.
I was sent two items to try and share my thoughts with you: Power of Love Coconut-Infused Mineral Eye Shadow palette and Coco Pure Makeup Removing Wipes.
The Power of Love Coconut-Infused Mineral Eye Shadow palette
Get a rainbow of colors that let your inner radiance shine bright. An incredibly innovative formula that pushes natural makeup and mineral color to new bounds. Rich, lasting, creaseless eye shadows are infused with coconut water for a velvety, cream-like finish. Palette includes 10 gorgeous on-trend and easy-to-wear shades: Mysterious, Bare, Falling Star, Spirited, Devoted, Shine On, Treasure, Crush, and Soul, and Luna. This super pretty palette is made with recyclable paper and housed in a beautiful box. Box is printed with soy ink.
Any true beauty knows it’s what’s inside that matters. It’s also what’s not inside: these colors are formulated without: Animal ingredients (including carmine, beeswax and lanolin), animal testing, talc, FD&C colors, mineral oil, parabens, phthalates, petroleum, propylene glycol, gluten, and peanut oil. 100% Vegan and cruelty-free.
Volume: 0.2 oz / 5.7 g
Pacifica’s packaging is so adorable. They really try to encourage everybody and just remind you how pretty and unique you are… They have some small messages everywhere; on the packaging, on the palette itself… I think that is so thoughtful of them. Great great idea.
The palette is of a travel friendly size. Magnetic closure it’s another thing that has my seal of approval :) I like that it doesn’t come with any sort of sponge or brush which I wouldn’t use anyways, but which would add up to the size of this palette.
The palette consists of 10 colors. The selection of shades is phenomenal. It is not boring at all. But at the same time not too crazy or bright if you’re more of a neutral makeup kinda girl. Kust by looking at the palette, a lot of color combinations come to my mind. I can’t wait to try it and post some looks using this palette.
Besides having a nice color selection, you also have a beautiful texture variety. It’s satin, matte and pearl finishes.
These eye shadows are so silky and buttery. They apply and blend so smoothly. I guess that the coconut oil infused in these eye shadows does a very good job.
Instead of a regular black you have a deep navy blue and a deep burgundy; you don’t have a plain white or ivory color, you have something a lot more interesting and complex, a couple of very beautiful highlighters, one is yellow toned and the other comes with a rose hue.
Aren’t they amazing? The pigmentation is beautiful. Lasting power is great too. They are a little powdery, but nothing excessive.
Unfortunately I don’t know the exact names of the e/s, because they are just listed on the back with no picture or description…
So, I will be just reffering to colors according my swatch photo.
The third color from the left, top raw, it’s the perfect transition color. You can use it for whatever combinations. Fourth e/s from the left bottom raw is the one that shows up a lot better if you’ll be using a sticky primer, preferably white or any blue/green toned base.
This color is so so pretty. It’s that perfectly balanced aqua shade, not too green or blue. Just what I was missing in my collection. It is matte with some gold sparks. But you won’t have much of them left after you blend the color. If you want those sparks on, just pack the e/s on your lid, without budging it too much.
I have a very good impression of this palette. You may find the price not as affordable but IMO it is worth it. You don’t get a lot of product for $20 but if you’tr not a MUA you don’t need more than this palette is offering. Even if you’re gonna use them everyday, it will last you a year or even more for sure.
I will update this post if anything less than positive will be noticed with time
Coco Pure Makeup Removing Wipes
Coconut milk infused natural towelettes that gently cleanse and wipe away makeup, excess oil, dirt and daily pollutants all without water. Jojoba oil and aloe vera make these wipes for great for sensitive and dry skin. Convenient, portable, and perfect for anytime, anywhere.
Quantity: 30 wipes
These Coco wipes are very comparable to the previous I have already reviewed (click here if you’re interested to read the previous post). They don’t take off my makeup completely, and they do even worse when it comes to mascara… Again, I use them instead of my toner, or after I took my makeup off and I’m using one of the wipes as an extra cleaning step, or if I don’t have makeup on I may use a wipe to refresh my face.
They do not irritate my skin. They’re biodegradable. These wipes won’t replace your regular makeup remover, but if you prefer cruelty free products and if this is #1 priority for you, you might wanna check Pacifica products.
Have you tried anything from Pacifica? I would love to hear from you.
